He's Walking!!!!

This may be a stretch, but I was thinking about the fact that He who walked on water also had to learn to walk on land. He created the land and the sea, and he walked on both. I just pray that our little one, who is learning to walk will follow in the footsteps of both his earthly father and his heavenly one.

Reyna's 1st Field Day

We attended Reyna's very first Field Day this week. They began with a stretching song called "Tony Chestnut" and then the races began. Although Reyna was the last of her group to cross the finish line each and every race, she did a great job! After the races, they had snacks of colored, goldfish crackers and gatorade. Then they had some bounce house fun followed by the medal presentations. It was so much fun to be able to go and cheer her on!!! I know you'll enjoy these videos.

Date Night

Dan & I took the opportunity of free child care to dress up and go out for dinner. Reyna did the honors of taking these pictures.

Texas State Flower

For all you who aren't Texans, the Blue Bonnet is the state flower of TX, and this is the first year since we've lived here that we took the opportunity to take some pictures among these prized wild flowers.
