Easter to a 3 Year Old

After church on Easter Sunday, we asked Reyna what she did in church. She replied, "Ummm, there was a story." We asked her who the story was about, and she said, "Jesus." We told her that Mommy & Daddy listened to a story about Jesus in church, too. And we began to ask her what happened in the story.

She said, "Jesus is not a bad man."

"That's true."

"But there was a bad man."

"Yes."

"Jesus was a great man."

"That's right, Sweetie. And then what happened?"

"Jesus was gone."

"Yes, and then what happened?"

"Jesus is alive!!!" she said with a huge smile on her face.

I don't think the resurrection story gets much better than that!

And Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me...for the kindgom of God belongs to such as these." Mark 10:14
